They had a Rue Amandine experience

  • I will never stay at a hotel again. I will never stay anywhere else In Paris except at this wonderful first floor apartment that looks onto the throb of Montmartre. Succulent croissant and baguette from across the road, wonderful fish from the poissonnerie on ther corner. BUT the real trick is to get Amandine who will welcome you and pamper you anyhow to arrange a personal itinerary - With Rue Amandine (www.rueamandine.com) for about the price of one nights accomodation you get a utterly personal plan with places Parisians haven't yet found and restaurants like Frenchie where there is a 3 month waiting list and Amandine somehow wangles you a table. Have a days less stay and a lot more holiday by using Rue Amandine - and she is no relation just a wonderful young woman that helped me and my 14 year old son have one of the best holidays of my life. I will be back! (note from RA : you may see Robin's video review in the blog part: "if you do not use Rue Amandine, you're crazy").

  • We have only been home a week and have alreay referred friends to Amandine. We will contiue to rave and recommend rue Amandine because we found it to be an invaluable tool to truly immersing in a neighborhood/city and having a unique and quite wonderful Parisian experience. While I am usually a thorough researcher about travel sights, experiences and, particularly places to eat and drink, I would never have discovered all of the personal insights that Amandine, a lifelong, enthusiastic Parisian collects through personal experience and excellent taste. Her recommendations are exceptional and we savored all of our dining experiences -- from the unbelievable caramel eclair to the freshest oysters and the seven course dinners and on and on -- nine days were still not enough! Many years ago, I stayed at the Plaza Athenee which was lovely, but sterile compared to the comfort and security we felt at rue Amandine in Le Marais. We are grateful to have had such a suberb vacation.

  • [India stayed in a duplex loft in Le Marais that is not online] Amandine and Isabelle, Words can't describe how grateful we are to both of you, and to Valerie, Eman, Suraya, Charlotte, and everyone else (including baby Jeanne!) for making our trip to Paris magical. Merci! We only wish we could stay longer (and maybe we will one day!). The location and size were perfect, with lots of space for us to spread out when we were actually "at home". While it was simply furnished, the beds and linens were comfortable, the bathrooms were sizable and lovely, and we were steps away from fantastic shopping, dining, and transportation to everywhere in Paris. You have created a special service. My only suggestion would be to find a way to keep it personal, sincere, and hands-on - this is what distinguishes you from any one else. We could have rented many other apartments, but what made us choose you was your attention to detail, from the warm welcome of coffee and breakfast to the flexibility around our early arrival and late departure. You treated us like family. Amandine works magic - even if this is your 20th visit to Paris, she has an insider's knowledge that ensures you have a unique, personal, and very up-to-the minute Parisien experience. After only five days in Paris, we started to believe that there isn't anyone Amandine doesn't know! A rue Amandine experience is never commercial, never contrived. We felt like we had old friends in Paris who cared about how we spent our days and nights. Together, Isabelle and Amandine created a wonderful assortment of activities for us to sample during our stay. And they left us with inspiration for many more trips to come! Amandine went out of her way to organize soccer tickets for my son and husband, and a sensational boat cruise for my parents' 50th anniversary. We were the honored guests of Valerie and Manu on a lovely houseboat. We never wanted to leave Valerie's boat, decorated with exquisite style, and our children fell asleep reading in front of the fire while we sipped champagne on deck. Suraya magically produced a sumptuous feast - and was wonderful company along the way. Valerie was so charming and opened both her personal retreat and her time to us. What a wonderful way to spend a night in Paris! Our only regret is that we did not get to do and see all the things that were included in our Road Book, which just means we must return to Paris again soon to spend time with our new friend Amandine. As a working mother, I must add that Amandine and Isabelle, both mother's of infants aged 3 and 6 months at the time of our trip, were extraordinary in their professionalism, dedication to our trip, and to our family. We only learned about Amandine's gorgeous little daughter (and Isabelle's and Charlotte's, and Valerie's!) when someone told us. Hats off to them for creating a personal, unique, and much-needed service and may their business continue to flourish. This is a business created out of love for Paris and a passion for others and it shows. I will urge all my friends to use Rue Amandine!

  • I am honored to recommend RUE AMANDINE for ANYONE who wishes to have one of the most FABULOUS EXPERIENCES possible. My family and I are seasoned travelers. We have traveled extensively throughout the USA, CANADA and LONDON. PARIS was our second EUROPEAN trip to celebrate my daughters graduations from both High School & College. I normally plan all our trips and have extensive experience in seeking out the best ideas and values for our travels. I first read about RUE AMANDINE over 2 years ago in a travel article in USA TODAY. Intrigued, I emailed them for more information. They PROMPTLY responded. This initial inquiry put in motion communicating with them intermittently for over 2+ years. When we were finally able to schedule our trip. ISABELLE was UNBELIEVABLE in setting up our Apartment selections (we had very specific needs) along with their usual excellent ROADMAP. However, we wanted a more intimate and local experience as PARIS is truly one of the great Cities of the world. She helped set up several special events, which included passes to the top of the Eiffel Tower, along with private guided tours of the Louvre and Montmartre District. However, the crowning achievement and highlight of our journey, was our private guided tour to VERSAILLES with BRYAN. In one word INCREDIBLE. CENTRAL CITY PARIS is a special place with so MANY CHOICES! Without RUE AMANDINE and ISABELLE'S assistance we could have easily not MAXIMIZED our time there. They set up a COMPLETE EXPERIENCE. They are EXCELLENT in BALANCING traditional TOURIST ACTIVITIES with leisurely PARISIAN PURSUITS in such a way that you don't feel overwhelmed. In closing, if you want a TRULY REMARKABLE PARISIAN-FRENCH experience, TREAT YOURSELF to the TRULY SUPERB, GRACEFUL and FABULOUS SERVICES provided by the RUE AMANDINE TEAM.T Wolf MD Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.USA

  • Rue Amandine is the only way to see Paris! You’ll feel like a real Parisian! My husband and I decided to celebrate our 35th anniversary in Paris for the second time, and there is no way we would have been able to plan everything with out Rue Amandine. For months ahead, Amandine and her staff will help to customize your trip from the first moment you arrive, to the last day! We feel so lucky to have found her, and will continue to book all our future trips to Paris through Rue Amandine. It’s such a comforting feeling to know that you have someone you can count on, and to talk to anytime during your trip (especially if you don’t speak that much French!) She helps you to find the ideal apartment location specifically for you likes and desires, art, culture, food, history, etc., so you feel like you are really live among the “locals”! From the moment you land, she can arrange for someone to pick you up and take you to your apt, then you are greeted by one of her staff members with a welcome basket full of Parisian gourmet treats! She then guides you through a well planned “road book” of suggestions and ideas of how to spend your time in Paris from museums, shops, restaurants, (all prebooked for you), and all major attractions! Rue Amandine is just the best way to go if you’re planing a trip to Paris. Highly recommended! One of our highlights of our trip to Paris through Rue Amandine was a trip to Burgundy to spend the night in a beautiful castle (St Fargeaux)! The train ride alone was a beautiful site! It was a truly amazing experience to visit the castle, sleep in castles’ beautiful suite and have a traditional French meal in our room! We were also able to explore the entire castle and walk the castle grounds on our own! The next day we were toured the town's market to choose our favorite foods to take back to the Summer cottage for a cooking lesson and prepare all the wonderful food we had chosen. What a great experience that should be part of your trip to Paris and not be missed!

  • Dear Isabelle and Amandine, You made our trip to Paris such an incredible experience. We can't thank you enough for all of the work that went into planning our days and nights there. The restaurant recommendations were excellent. Having tickets already purchased for the activities helped tremendously. The guidebook allowed us to relax and not constantly have to think about what we were scheduled to do next and where it was and how to get there and what else is around there to do or where to eat or have a drink. We would absolutely contact you before visiting the city again to plan everything. We would also refer you to anyone we know planning on going to Paris. Merci! Walt and Serena

  • How does a couple who got married on the Brooklyn Bridge celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary? They call the extraordinary team of Amandine at Rue Amandine. In 1994, my husband Peter and I decided to get married in an iconic city, New York, in an unconventional way. Friends and family joined us for a march to the middle of Brooklyn Bridge then paraded through Chinatown to celebrate in a rooftop Soho photography studio. Twenty years later, we decided to throw a party for our friends in another iconic city, Paris. We had our sights set on some unexpected venues, but as we now live on the far tip of Africa, in Cape Town, we needed some help planning the perfect event. Time to ring Amandine! Two years ago team Rue Amandine became our new best friends when they helped us coordinate the celebrations for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary in Paris. We knew Amandine could handle the challenge. We were not disappointed. In fact, we were overwhelmed by the care, the joy, and the professionalism she and her gorgeous team of Isabelle and Sue dedicated to making our long weekend spectacular. Amandine is a magician – she secured seemingly impossible locations for cocktails (Deyrolle – my one request!), dinner (the Beef Club), lunch (Grazie), and dancing (Candeleria). But most impressive was her ability to manage the expectations of 30 of our closest friends, who arrived in Paris from around the globe to join in the fun. She secured taxis, apartments, hotel reservations, dinner reservations, museum passes, babysitters, art historians, and much more, in addition to planning the most wonderful series of parties – and made it all look effortless. The task was not an easy one – we began working with Rue Amandine in October, six months in advance, and the invite list kept changing up until the very last week, with people confirming, canceling, and even re-booking. Yet nothing seemed to ruffle Amandine’s feathers. Truly, if you want to feel like a Paris insider, call Rue Amandine. Most people wouldn’t even consider having a cocktail party in a taxidermist shop, much less organise a photo session as well. But Amandine embraced the idea, somehow persuaded the owner to allow it (he told me that Louis Vuitton and Woody Allen are the only people he has allowed to use the shop in the past.), and set up a stunning champagne bar. It was exactly as we envisioned it – when our guests arrived they realized that this was not going to be an ordinary weekend. From Deyrolle, we went to the Beef Club, where we had a private room, flaming passion fruit cocktails, dancing, and a delicious late night dinner. An inspiring and inspired start to the weekend. On Saturday, we met at Grazie, the uber-trendy pizza restaurant in the Marais, for a lunch. The spring sun was shining, sunglasses concealing the late night eyes, and those who were running the Paris marathon on Sunday began carbo-loading. After lunch, Amandine organized a truly special bike tour of the secret spots of Paris for the more energetic, and a behind-the-scenes art tour of hidden galleries and private museums for others. Even the children were catered to – with nutella pizza for dessert at lunch and a visit to the super cool Musee de la Chasse et de la Nature to talk to a performance artist living inside a bear for two weeks. Amandine knows all the latest exhibits and she knows how to avoid the lines. Did I mention the private boat ride for eight guests who arrived early on Thursday night? Valerie, boat captain and architect extraordinaire, and beautiful Sue, wizard chef and organiser, (everyone who knows and works with Amandine seems to be uber-talented!) picked us up on Canal St. Martin on Valerie’s exquisite boat. As guitarists played on the banks of the Seine under the cherry blossoms, we sipped champagne and made our way through the locks towards the river. This is not your usual tourist cruise – it is like having your own private (and very stylish) boat on the Seine. The weather cooperated and the stars rivaled the sparkling lights on the Eiffel Tower. Even better, Amandine had arranged for Didier, a debonair chef, to conduct a cooking class at our house for our children and four of their friends while we enjoyed the cruise. On Sunday, Amandine and her team organized tours of the market for the non-runners, while some of us made our way around 26.2 miles of Paris’s best known sites to complete the Paris marathon. That evening, we all met at L’Hôtel in St. Germain, where the talented Charlotte was back to photograph us on the streets of the city. Again, champagne was the drink of choice and as Peter and I looked down les Beaux Arts at the setting sun, we realized that our dream for a 20th anniversary fete to top our wedding had come true. And Amandine still had surprises to come – a vintage car courtesy of Lee, Isabelle’s super-sophisticated husband, to take Peter and me to the party and a gourmet cake to top off absinthe cocktails and dancing at Candeleria, a speakeasy hidden behind a taqueria. At 2am, the DJ finally had to shut down the music, kicking the last revelers out into the streets of the Marais to continue the party. It was the ideal way to end a perfect weekend, and to begin the next 20 years of marriage. We won’t wait that long to call upon Amandine again. Very rarely, you meet someone who is masterful at all things, who gathers around her exceptional people, and who is not afraid to accept any challenge. Rue Amandine is not a travel agent, not an event planner, not a caterer, not a tour organiser. She is a dear friend – big-hearted, super-chic, and unflappable – who cares deeply about her city and wants you to experience it as only a Parisian can. If only every city had a Rue Amandine!

  • My experience with Rue Amandine was wonderful. Amandine planned everything to the T. The Roadbook was very helpful. It helped guide me and my family along the trip and it gave a real Parisian's perspective on what / what not to see. This is something a regular tourist brochure would not be able to do. I thought the stay was worth the priced paid for and the apartment was trendy, clean, and cozy. I also felt welcome by Amandine and all of the staff. I loved living in one of Paris's oldest neighborhoods with rich history and many art galleries/ boutiques. I would recommend Rue Amandine to any family who is looking to stay in the heart of Paris for a good price and have the experience of a life-time.

  • Our stay in Paris was made extra special by using Rue Amandine. The apartment we lived in, (we splurged on the artist' apartment), made us feel like true Parisians. It had all the comforts of home, but was so beautifully French it felt like we were in a truly special place. Our neighborhood was fantastic, and we were able to walk the whole city of Paris, hitting many arrondissements by foot. Rue Amandine provided us with a roadblock to navigate our top wish lists, and from there were were able to expand our explorations. We didn't feel like we had to do every recommendation and instead were able to use the book as a guideline to the city. It was a great way to travel. The pre booked tickets Rue Amandine was able to get us were fabulous, and I loved that Isabelle greeted us at the apartment and gave us a mini tour of our neighborhood. It made us feel welcome and allowed us to get our bearings for the week. I would absolutely use and recommend Rue Amandine for anyone who wants to see Paris through the eyes of seasoned Parisians. You can take as much help as you need or branch off and explore on your own as we did. No matter how you do it Paris is amazing, but it is a treat to live in one of Rue Amandine's apartments!

  • I would return in an instant to this apartment. The decor is typically old fashioned french and classic, whilst appearing new and clean. Very beautiful features. An ideal location, and plenty big enough for 2 people. The surrounding area has all you need with fresh fruit and vegetables - that taste like fruit and vegetables! A delicious bakers, and very close to Blanche/Abbesses Metro. A very safe environment to walk around, so great for young families or alone travellers. Amandine is a generous host and helped us out with our 'Vegetarian' needs! A welcome basket of cheese, bread, butter, jam and Madelines went above and beyond what we expected. We wanted for nothing. Highly recommend.

  • One morning in a cafe in Montmartre sitting at the next table was a French girl chatting to a German Family and advising them on what to do and where to go in Paris. Following the departure of the German Family we decided to ask this girl (her name was Amandine Dubessay) for a couple of restaurant recommendations. She questioned us on our food likes and dislikes, if price was important, were we looking for something typically French or whether we were looking for one of the new exciting stylish restaurants that were serving innovative first class cuisine, her questioning was quite perceptive and so she gave us the name of three restaurants to choose from. She gave us telephone numbers and advised on whether we needed to book or not and the suitable dress code. Before leaving her she mentioned she was renovating an apartment in the Montmartre Village and maybe next time we were in Paris perhaps we should contact her to see if it was available for renting. Well firstly the restaurant she recommended was fabulous, very stylish, great food, good service, stylish ambience and price wise not over the top. We did return to Paris from the South of France five weeks later and because she got it right with the restaurant we thought why not call her even though in the past we have always stayed around St Germain. The apartment was available. Location, location, location. Fantastic, we had the best seven days there. The apartment had a brand new kitchen with all new appliances, stylish lounge area with sofa bed suitable for two persons, small but adequate size bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with great shower. The kitchen lounge area has three floor to ceiling French windows which front on to the village square and when opened you feel as though you are very much part of Parisian life and part of the busy day to day activity of the locals. When the windows are closed you don’t hear a thing and you can relax in privacy. Walk out the front door and you are surrounded by the best group of typical Paris shops you could possibly imagine. Food, fashion, art houses, inpendant cinema, Metro, wine bars etc etc. But the best thing about this apartment is the meet and greet from Amandine. She will sound you out and give you the best advise on where to go and what to do whilst you are in Paris. We have no hesitation recommending Amandine and her apartment to our friends and should you choose to rent from her we are sure like us you will be very happy and enjoy yourself whilst in Paris.

  • We've been to Paris several times now and staying at an apartment was a great choice for us this time. We were greeted by Amandine as we arrived at the front door of the apartment in Montmartre - she was lunching nearby keeping her eyes peeled for us. The apartment was exactly like the pictures on the Internet and Amandine welcomed us and helped us get settled. She even left us a bottle of wine and a baguette and cheese (shaped like the Eiffel tower) for a snack. What a nice way to start our visit! Amandine loves her city and is a wealth of information for restaurants and events- I highly recommend her as an agent to help you find a place next time you're thinking of taking a trip to Paris. Merci encore Amandine!

Merci "Rue Amandine" (English) We have spent ten days in the lovely Montmartre apartement together with our small doughter. The Apartment is perfectly located. Close by stunning bars and delicious Restaurants and just jex to the Subway. The Neighbourhood shows Paris from its best side. Vivid and alive, cultural and nostalgic at once. We were really happy to have found a place in which we felt home from the very first instant. Amandine the Manager from "Rue Amandine" was great. She had the Twist of beeing very friendly and personal. We felt at home in Paris aswell due to her effort welcomming us in the City. The appartement was very charming and beautiful set and taken care of. We would come to the best neighbourhood anytime again and talk about "our Apartment". Best and hopefully soon

  • After some initial misunderstandings regarding the room, I was slightly nervous about the place. However, my concerns were immediately allayed after meeting Amandine and seeing the gorgeous apartment we had rented. We stayed at the duplex near Bastille and the location was perfect - great restaurants on the block, a charming alley outside, and the best chocolate imaginable at the end of the street. We felt so comfortable in the apartment. After going from cramped hotel to cramped hotel, staying here felt like home. Amandine provided some excellent recommendations for where to eat and was extremely professional, responsive, and courteous. Highly recommended.

  • What can I say, I wanted to see and experience how life in Paris is like, and this apartment provided me that and so much more! The apartment really is a gem. Relaxing, comfortable and very accessible to all the spots to check out in Paris. Amandine is a wonderful host! I came to Paris on very short notice and Amandine was patient and efficient in providing me with last minute accomodation and as well as ensuring that everything is in place on my arrival date. She truely is a parisian and definitely knows all there is to know about Paris, where to eat, what to see, and where to go (both tourist attractions and more low key spots to check out.) I am very fortunate to have had a chance to meet Amandine and to have stayed at this great apartment. Also, check out 'Rue Amandine' to experience Paris like no other. I hope to be back in the near future.

  • Bonjour Amandine, We are back and amazingly tired. I have bragged on you to everyone. You did a fantastic job getting us the perfect rooms/apartments in Paris, Roma, Venice, Berlin and London. They were all very nice, attractive, and safe. Our favorite, of course, was Paris. We loved living there and being a part of the life in Paris! My next favorite was Venice. We loved being there with the water and boats. (We loved the Coliseum and the Vatican in Rome but found the people were not as friendly as in Paris). The whole trip was wonderful !!! Merci, Amandine. If you ever want to come to USA, please plan on staying with us any time you like! We have plenty of room and would love to have you with us. Donna and Larry

  • We had a lovely week in Paris and got to see its charms through the eyes of people who really love their city. Everything we needed at the time we needed them were taken care of promptly by Amandine and her team so we were happy little campers. The most important thing is that we didn't feel like mere clients, but more like friends. We loved everything… the good, the mishaps, the food (!), and most of all, the French people. Rue Amandine is like your hip, Parisian friend who has the inside pass to the city and who makes sure you have a great time on her watch. We are now back in Manila and recovering from our jetlag. Thank you so much for taking care of us during our stay there. It was heartwarming and magical. You all made us feel at home.

  • We feel so fortunate that we found Rue Amandine for our Paris experience. We were greeted by Isabelle who not only went through our road book with us, but she had stocked the kitchen with basics that made us feel right at home. Our apartment was perfect! Great location, close to metro, restaurants and shopping. The pre-arranged 3 tours were wonderful, particularly our private tour of The Louvre with Estelle. She was so well informed and maximized our time by focusing on the most important areas, based on our interests. Our tour of Montmartre with Christophe was also a highlight. His historical perspective as we walked though the area was informative and humorous. We still talk about that tour! Our dinner reservations were perfect for our short visit, but Chez Julian and Spring were especially note worthy. We had an amazing time and would recommend Rue Amandine to anyone who wants to have a perfect visit tailored just for them!vVicki and Christy

  • We would highly recommend Rue Amandine to anyone travelling to Paris. We planned our trip only a couple of weeks in advance, so it was excellent to have all their recommendations based on where we were staying, the time of year and the kinds of activities we wanted to do The roadbook was excellent and we followed many of the suggested walking routes to see our preferred sights in each area. The food recommendations were so useful, as there are too many places to choose from that we would not have known where to start! I loved the cooking class and the massage too - things I might not have normally thought about doing. Being able to contact Isabelle at anytime to discuss or clarify our plans was invaluable, as was having tickets booked in advance. Such an excellent service. I am so glad that we found Rue Amandine!!"

  • We used Rue Amandine to plan our 25th anniversary trip to Paris, and could not have been happier with the results. Thanks to Amandine,Isabelle&co, we had a truly magical experience. From the postcard-perfect apartment in Montmartre (on a quintessential cobblestone street with a fantastic boulangerie right across the street!) to a day trip to Versailles to dinners at some of the best (and hardest-to-book) restaurants in Paris, this was a special, once-in-a-lifetime trip.Thank you, thank you, thank you a thousand times over for making our anniversary so memorable. • This was our first time in Paris. We are from the USA and only speak English unfortunately. We have travelled widely in Europe but never to France because of the perceived language barrier. Rue Amandine made it comfortable for us. They took away the intimidation factor and made it seem friendly and doable. The apartment was great. Loved the location. Rode the subway all over the city without trouble. Loved the "book" they worked up for us. We were met at the train station and then met at the apartment. They got us comfortable and then left us to do Paris as we had planned. The BEST part is with Rue Amandine, you have a friend in Paris that you can call with questions, help, suggestions, whatever. For us, that was worth the price by itself. We had a wonderful time thanks to you. And by the way, the French are lovely, friendly, helpful and will speak English without hesitation. Thanks again. Merci beaucoup

  • We had an amazing trip. We were looking for a brief but romantic visit. Rue Amandine provided great accommodations, and really thoughtful services that gave us a more authentic Parisian experience. The restaurants suggested were fantastic, and we loved how proactive Isabelle was in booking tables before we had even decided where to go. The photographer was brilliant, and the taxi driver was prompt and friendly. I travel all the time, and can't remember a better experience than we enjoyed with Rue Amandine.

  • We adored our stay at the Rue Popincourt location in Bastille. Amandine thought of positively everything in setting up this apartment. The decor (from the charming shop called Merci, also in Bastille) is extremely tasteful, the billowy blankets and spacious living room, with its comfortable pull-out couch were perfect for our boys to share. We were even able to use the downstairs space to do yoga each morning, which we loved. The apartment is in close proximity to a delicious corner bakery, and several great restaurants, and is right around the corner from the subway. I would recommend this place to all who would like a centrally located, well-appointed place. You are in great hands with Amandine, who is a wealth of knowledge regarding places to see and things to do while in Paris.

  • Hi Amandine I would simply like to thank you for your contribution to my lovely stay in Montmartre. The apartment is excellent, in a perfect setting with a wonderful patisserie over the road (far too close for my waistline), an abundance of charcutterie and maison du fromage nearby and "parisian" restaurants to be discovered with your help. Whenever I needed anything, it was great to know that you were able to answer quickly - even when I was in another part of Paris and needed some (usually culinary) advice. I am sorry to leave tomorrow but look forward to a return visit. I will see you in the morning at about 9.45 Donald

  • Dear Amandine, We would like to thank you for taking such a good care of us in our stay in Paris and for the lovely apartment you provided us.. It started even before we arrived Paris; the directions you sent us made it very easy to find the location. As for the apartment, its location is probably the best in town, very central and you can actually walk most of your vacation and get to all the important and interesting sites by foot. The apartment was very clean and well equipped all we had to do is to buy some groceries. The bed is very comfortable and the closet had a lot of space for all the clothes we brought The apartment is also very spacious and so as the bathroom (which as we heard is very rare in Paris) And the most important thing, As you know we got engaged in our stay at this apartment so we think it has a special charm We will be happy to be you're special guests in any of your apartment... Yours, Sima & Guy

  • This was a fantastic apartment for our week long stay in Paris over the holidays. The 3 of us were perfectly comfortable in the Studio. It's very spacious. And the location couldn't have been better. Amandine was a wonderful host... she worked around our travel schedule, provided us with recommendations for fun New Years Eve spots and made us feel very welcome and at home. I will be contacting her again to book an apartment for my next trip to Paris..for sure. Nancy... Brooklyn, New York

  • We loved the apartment. Amandine was really quick to respond and great at dealing with our last minute booking request (we booked on the day we arrived). The apartment was beautiful, very new and extremely comfortable. Amandine recommended some local places to eat/drink/visit, all of which were fantastic. The Japanese restaurant (delicious tasting menu) was a definite highlight! Thank you for a great stay and we look forward to returning.

  • Rue Amandine was a perfect way to end our trip. We stayed in the Montmartre apartment, just up the road from a friend who is living in Paris so it was very convenient for us. The apartment was the perfect size for two (my mother and I), and we used the sofa bed as well as the bedroom. Amandine worked her magic and got us reservations at Frenchie as well as Le Chateaubriand. Both of which were fabulous. The roadbook was very helpful for other local restaurants and speciality shops. I have let many friends and family know how wonderful it was and will always contact Rue Amandine in the future when I travel to Paris. Amandine must have so clients from all over the world, but she managed to make us feel like old friends. A delightful person.

  • My wife and I stayed a total of almost two weeks at the apartment in Le Marais. We were greeted upon arrival with a lovely bottle of wine, camembert and bread and beautiful fresh cherries. From there we were given a 'road book' which detailed not only the section we were in, but the neighboring and surrounding arrondissements also. This included restaurants, bistros, places for a drink, shopping, etc. And not just a list - but each had a clear and personal description. The apt. had washing machine, dishwasher and coffee machine. All worked perfectly. A few times I texted Amandine with questions such as, 'where is the nearest dry cleaners' and within a few minutes received a text back with the information. Upon departure, we were met again personally. Our deposit was refunded via paypal within 24 hours. A driver was ready, even at 5:00 AM, to bring us to the airport. Wonderful service. Wonderful people who run Rue Amandine. Bottom line - I have only experienced one apartment, but based on the service I would highly recommend Rue Amandine.

  • Rue Amandine is excellent! The staff is great and they go out of their way to make your stay in Paris a wonderful experience. The apartment was clean, tidy, and in a great location. They bought tickets to museums, castles, and events prior to your arrival which meant no waiting in long lines. The road map was useful particularly if it's your first time in Paris. I would definitely use Rue Amandine again.

  • Ms Amandine Dubessay adds something special to the French concept of the "concierge". Knowledgable, of course! But, oh so charming in an exquisitely Parisienne manner. She knows all the cafes and restaurants and shops like a local and she is willing to arrange any little thing that fits with your particular needs. We were able to enjoy Paris more as a local than just as a tourist as a result. She helped make the whole experience so much more than a mere visit. Bravo, Mademoiselle.

  • It was wonderful to be greeted in person when we arrived and the amenities, such as delicious pastries, coffee, etc. were great. Our apartment was very nice and the neighborhood great fun. We feel our trip was totally enhanced by using Rue Amandine. It is the only way to visit Paris.

  • Rue Amandine was able to provide us with housing in the 2 days leading up to New Year's in Paris. Amandine was a real life saver. Not only did she provide us with a place to stay, she gave us traffic tips on the way into town. We met her at the flat and she provided us with plenty of information on the area, maps of the city and even a bottle of wine. The flat was very nice and in a cool area of town. When not out in the city, we were able to relax in the flat with the TV and Wi-Fi she had available. Overall, it was a great trip and wouldn't have been nearly as nice without her hospitality and generosity in providing this flat. Thanks again!

  • Amandine is one of a kind! we were not sure if to use her services or count on the regular guidebook but eventually we took the right decision and contact her. Amandine gave a five stars service, she was there for us always with any question and problem we had. Her tips on places to visit and especially restaurants and markets were extremely helpful and upgraded our trip immensely. Just the fact that we didnt need to worry about anything! was worth it, we came, everything was ready and all was left to do is enjoy Paris and all it has to offer. Thank you Amandine for making our visit unforgettable (Yaron and Ilia stayed in an apartment near apt n°8 on web site)

  • Rue Amandine provided exceptional and personal service. It gave us a view of Paris we would never have had if we had stayed in a traditional hotel. They were also willing to customize their services to provide for some of our unique requests (...). It was outstanding and a highlight of our time in Paris. For a future visit to Paris, I would use Rue Amandine again and recommend it.

  • Luke and I do extensive research before we travel, but we found Paris guide books to be so overwhelming. We felt so lucky to stumble upon Rue Amandine's sight, and we were so relieved when Isabelle turned out to be an excellent guide. We would not have been able to experience the food and culture of Paris the way we did in 4 days had it not been for Rue Amandine. We will cherish the memory of the Emilie Gassin concert they booked for us on our first night and our dinner at Le Galopin on our last night in the city, truly a unique, local experience. This was exactly what we were looking for, but absolutely could not have found it alone.

  • Oh my goodness! The place was perfect for us. We found the apartment by subway (easily accessible) walked down a lovely cobble stoned street and turned into an alley that was filled with flowering bushes. The quiet and the calm was very much appreciated after the hustle bustle of travel. The apartment itself very much fit our needs, accommodating both myself, my father (74 years old) and my nine year old daughter, allowing for some privacy for all three of us. Amandine was there to greet us after having left a detailed list of fun things to do in the city with a young girl. She left us alone and we settled in very nicely to the apartment, cooking some meals, sitting around the table playing cards and just hanging out in between the lively activities of sight seeing and touring Paris. It was truly a great find for us, complete with two kitties in the yard, ( a delight for my girl) and a neighbor who played both the saxophone and piano which we could hear occasionally in the background while cooking dinners in the evening.Amandine was right. After six nights, I did not want to leave! I would gladly stay there again, anytime. Thank you Amandine!!!

Boa viagem!

  • The Rue Amandine experience certainly provides a real Parisian experience. This was my 4th visit to Paris, but was much unlike any of my previous visits and was so much more enjoyable than staying at a hotel. Amandine kept in regular contact via email prior to the trip and supplied me with all the relevant arrival information I needed to find my way to the apartment. On my arrival, Amandine was waiting at the apartment to welcome me and show me round. It did feel like I had a friend in Paris! The apartment was a delight to stay in. I instantly felt comfortable and at home. I had told Amandine that I wanted to relax and enjoy some beautiful French bread, wine and cheese. When I arrived at the apartment, Amandine had already bought all of these items for me including Goats Cheese in the shape of the Eiffel Tower, so we could 'get stuck in' straight away! The 'roadbook' prepared by Amandine for my visit was a handy reference tool for my visit (...). Amandine bought 2 tickets for Le Louvre in advance for me which was good as we could avoid the long lines on arrival at the museum. Again, reference to the roadbook told us how to get there. The apartment will comfortably sleep 4 people. The bed in the living area is a sofa bed, but it is very large, sturdy and comfortable with a proper mattress. It was a pleasure to stand at the large windows and just watch everyday Parisian life passing by outdoors. I really did feel like I was at home there, and hope to go back sometime. I would not hesitate recommending RueAmandine.com to anyone. Thank you Amandine.

  • My husband and I booked our first trip to Paris this past Sept. I researched everything on-line and found Rue Amandine on "MyLittleParis" website and decided to go with it! They will email you a questionnaire about what you'd like to do in Paris to really customize your trip. I had constant connection with them with any questions I had- that they immediately answered. Once there, we were greeted by Amandine and a wonderful welcome basket of wine, chocolate, croissants, cheese, act. Amandine presents you with a "RoadBook" of everything you both decided to do and see, how to get around Paris, tickets to main attractions, and reservations to top restaurants that takes months to get in to! The apt was beautiful, we were very pleased with the accommodations and the location - walked right out to the fresh markets, wine shops, chocolate shops - everything! The Eiffel tower was around the corner! Amandine was wonderful, as is everyone on her staff. Isabelle even made a special trip to meet us at one of the restaurants! Rue Amandine made our dream trip to Paris come true, and we're definitely planning on using them again next year! Enjoy your trip to Paris!"

  • We stayed at Amandine's apartments at Monmartre and highly enjoyed our vacation. Amandine sent detailed instructions on how to get to apartments and was waiting us there. The apartment was clean and fully furnished with all new furniture. The apartment has one bedroom and large living room and can accomodate up to 4 people. There are a lot of good and affordable cafes and shops nearby and the whole area is very lively. Everything was fine during our stay. I'd recommend Amandine to everyone who goes in France on a vacation. She's a professional and her apartments are even better than a hotel room. I'll definitely stay at Amandine's apartment next time.

  • Working with Isabelle at Rue Amandine helped us to focus on what we really wanted to do and see during our week in Paris. She got us out of the tourist bubble of guides and busses and gave us the confidence to explore, get a bit lost, experience a real neighborhood. Although we'll never forget the sights, I think what we'll cherish is meandering along Rue Rambuteau, eating like Parisians, and just stumbling upon Anne Frank Park as children played under the eyes of parents and nannies at the end of a day.

  • "En underbar lägenhet! This beautifully decorated appartement situated in the heart of Paris is really wonderful. It has all the facilities required and is only a short walk from la Bastille and le Marais. If you want a home away from home, this is the place to stay. We are delighted and we sincerely recommend this place and the impeccable services of Amandine Dubessay" Anna Leckström, Joel Rapi, Kolbrún and André Löfgren

  • Wonderful location, less than 2 blocks from the Seine on a quiet residential street with restaurants and boutiques literally around the corner. Short walks to Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Sorbonne, Boulevard St. Germain. Architect-designed compact apartment was charming and immaculate with the latest appliances and centuries-old exposed beams. Amandine was professional, reliable and warm, welcoming us with a stocked kitchen, wine, fresh bread and cheese. We stayed for two weeks and every day was great.

  • I found all of the staff to be warm and friendly....they really made us feel welcomed and at home. The service was informative and prompt. Isabelle took all of the information I provided and delivered to us the exact experience we were looking for - that along with a warm welcome on arrival made for a wonderful experience. I have already referred friends to Rue Amandine. Keep up the great work, ladies.

  • An Australian In Paris. I can say unconditionally that my stay in Rue Durantin's apartment was without a doubt and in no small way responsible for the best time I have ever spent in Paris, its location is perfect and the freedom from the routine of hotel accommodation is a refreshing change. It enables you to experience Paris the way the locals do with all the requirements of cafe's, restaurants, brasserie's, patisseries and delicatessens on your doorstep, a short walk in any direction provides the complete spectrum of dining and entertainment opportunities. I was fortunate to be there during the Paris music festival and can highly recommend the experience the whole of Montemartre is alive with the sites and sounds of music from around the world to suit just about any possible taste, the festive atmosphere is only enhanced by the mixture of locals and visitors. The welcome I experienced by Rue Amandine set the tone for my stay and served to reinforce my opinion that this is the only way to experience Paris (...) just about anything that you would like to do in Paris can be arranged or coordinated prior to you visit, alternatively like me you can just take up some of the recommendations made when you arrive at your apartment.
