Reviews of Unique artist apartment in Saint Germain
The apartment was lovely. It was larger than we imagined and so charming. Staying at an artist's apartment really added to the charm. Her artwork was everywhere although the apartment was not at all cluttered. It's well-kept and we had no issues. Everything was a breeze. The location couldn't have been better. This apartment is really in the heart of Paris. Charming neighborhood with absolutely everything close by. Amandine was accomodating and friendly. She arranged for a taxi to pick us up and drop us off at the airport and helped us find a wonderful babysitter. Sue met us at the apartment for check-in. She was friendly and very helpful and provided us with some excellent restaurant recommendations. If we are fortunate enough to return to Paris, we would try to book the same apt. again or another apt. through Amandine.

We just had a great week at Amandine's apartment. The location was PERFECT and the apartment was wonderful. I've stayed in this neighborhood before and the buildings are not always as well maintained as this one was, nor as spacious. The amenities were exactly what we needed and Amandine and Sue made sure our stay was special. The treats from Eric Kayser on arrival were an added touch, and my husband wants to buy a nespresso machine now that he enjoyed it at the apartment. I highly recommend the apartment, the neighborhood, and Amandine and her team.
Sue was very helpful and welcoming. The apartment has amazing charm and atmosphere. It's location in St Germain, on the first floor of a very beautiful building, was near perfect for us. It was an artist's home and her works and etching plates were a wonderful stimulus to imagination. There is a lot of care and attention paid to detail and all the provided cooking condiments and equipment were greatly appreciated. It's perfect for two couples with two generous living spaces and comfortable beds. There were a couple of minor glitches which might have been obviated by providing a brief operating guide to the apartment. (There may be one but we didn't encounter it). We could not get the tv to work which did not really matter to us at all. A manual might have solved this. The charming concierge plays beautiful classical music in the mornings and was very helpful. If you want to experience Paris, a la Parisienne, this is the place for you. We'd go back there in a heartbeat. Thank you Amandine, Sue, et al. A marvellous experience.
Superb holiday apartment in St. Germain. The pictures do not do it justice. The hostess was very nice and shared tips and walking distance locations to eat or for the bakery. The host even offered concierge services if we needed them for making reservations to restaurants, theater, train and taxi needs. We loved the area and would definitely stay again or recommend it to another friend. You will not be disappointed!!
We had a fantastic stay. The apartment was spacious and clean. The area is amazing. I would love to stay here again. The hosts were very helpful, and transport options were also fantastic with a chauffeur pick up from the airport. Don't hesitate, stay here.
The location is superb, right in the heart of St. Germain des Pres. The apartment was delightful and spacious and reflected the artist's character. Sue, who works with Amandine, was immensely helpful and responsive, particularly in finding a nearby pharmacy and doctor for our daughter, who got sick on the trip. Only two downsides: we couldn't find the right setting for warmth on the radiators, so it was a bit cool, and we couldn't find a spatula in the otherwise well-equipped kitchen. We'll definitely book this apartment when we return.
We loved this gem of an apartment. The living room was quite large and very bright. The host was lovely. The location was super. This was better than we expected and would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying in your fabulous apartment located in the heart of Saint Germain des Pres. Thank you for welcoming us with a baguette, croissants, jam, cheese and bottle of wine.We would highly recommend this accommodation.
The best location possible. Walkable to everything, but still quiet at night. The apartment is as described and pictured. The host was very professional, polite, and helpful. She had delicious pastries and bread when we arrived. We loved rue jacob!
My experience with Rue Amandine was wonderful. Amandine planned everything to the T. The Roadbook was very helpful. It helped guide me and my family along the trip and it gave a real Parisian's perspective on what / what not to see. This is something a regular tourist brochure would not be able to do. I thought the stay was worth the priced paid for and the apartment was trendy, clean, and cozy. I also felt welcome by Amandine and all of the staff. I loved living in one of Paris's oldest neighborhoods with rich history and many art galleries/ boutiques. I would recommend Rue Amandine to any family who is looking to stay in the heart of Paris for a good price and have the experience of a life-time.

Our stay in Paris was made extra special by using Rue Amandine. The apartment we lived in, (we splurged on the artist' apartment), made us feel like true Parisians. It had all the comforts of home, but was so beautifully French it felt like we were in a truly special place. Our neighborhood was fantastic, and we were able to walk the whole city of Paris, hitting many arrondissements by foot. Rue Amandine provided us with a roadblock to navigate our top wish lists, and from there were were able to expand our explorations. We didn't feel like we had to do every recommendation and instead were able to use the book as a guideline to the city. It was a great way to travel. The pre booked tickets Rue Amandine was able to get us were fabulous, and I loved that Isabelle greeted us at the apartment and gave us a mini tour of our neighborhood. It made us feel welcome and allowed us to get our bearings for the week. I would absolutely use and recommend Rue Amandine for anyone who wants to see Paris through the eyes of seasoned Parisians. You can take as much help as you need or branch off and explore on your own as we did. No matter how you do it Paris is amazing, but it is a treat to live in one of Rue Amandine's apartments!
Amandine and her staff Isabelle were fantastic hosts. Amandine answered all the questions beforehand, and Isabelle welcomed us at the apartment with unexpected hospitality (baguette, jam, butter, pastries to get us started). Everything was clearly explained and the apartment is beautiful and very well kept. The street where it's located is very calm and yet the bustling parts of St. Germain des Prés are just steps away. As a family of 4, this apartment offered everything we need (quiet bedrooms, washing/drying machine and elevator very helpful). Isabelle recommended Huguette seafood bistro on rue de Seine and Joséphine bakery around the corner on rue Jacob that are both excellent. It was a lovely walk to Notre Dame and the Louvre, etc; also pleasant walk to RER train at Orsay to get to Versailles, and there were always taxis and uber cars available nearby. We highly recommend Rue Amandine and this apartment in Paris!
